A foundry, a forge
When did we last visit Lydford Gorge
A woodland path with views
Stimulated by gorgeous hues
Those magnificent water falls
Here in Cornwall too
St Nectan's Glen with ancient woods
For  those Centuries withstood
Different counties we have seen
On many a journey been
North South East and West
Once with someone full of zest
A visit to a revolutionary Ironbridge
To moors with many a ridge
Seeing out for miles on end
Going round those many bends
To beaches hills tracks and trails
By car coach boat and rail
And helicopters and ferries a few
Farewell meals on rivers and a canal
On splendid boats, a barge too
Vessels small and large
These a few of the wonderful things shared
With those whence once here and cared
