Familiar sights of thee
Even in darkness I know
From the twists and turns that show
I'm in my county now
Through Bodmin with their Christmas lights
Up and ready and sparkling bright
As Christmas is once again coming upon
Nearing my town and the garden centre pond
Glistening reflections from lights put on normal trees
Decorated with all the usual glee
For this is the time of year
To remember and thank those near
